StepCue is a focus timer app that creates short guided sessions from the task text and time preferences you provide.

Information We Process

• Task text you choose to provide, such as "study biology for 25 minutes".
• Optional session preferences, such as duration, no-break requests, or break intervals.
• Temporary session state needed to run the timer, such as the current step, remaining time, and completed steps.
• Basic technical information handled by our hosting providers, such as request metadata used for security, reliability, and debugging.

How We Use Information

• To create a focus session, timer blocks, break blocks, recovery prompts, and a short summary.
• To keep the active timer working if the widget reloads during a session.
• To debug errors, maintain security, and improve reliability.

Storage and Retention

StepCue v1 does not require an account and does not intentionally save long-term task history on our server. Active session state may be stored locally in the widget, browser, or host app state so the timer can restore during the current session.

Infrastructure providers may retain technical logs according to their own retention settings and policies.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data and do not serve ads. Information is processed by the services needed to run the app, including the AI app host and Cloudflare Workers infrastructure.

Data We Do Not Need

Please do not enter payment card details, passwords, government identifiers, medical information, or other sensitive information into StepCue. The app does not need that information to create a focus session.

Your Controls

• You can start a new session at any time.
• You can clear local browser/site data to remove locally stored widget state.
• You can contact us with privacy questions at support@stepcue.uk.
